The day before Thanksgiving day was a busy 1/2 day for the Montessori School of Aberdeen students. The Kindergarteners started the day off by delivering baskets of food the children had collected for the Salvation Army food bank. They were very excited to help stock the shelves and then watch the empty box’s get picked up to be recycled.
Then back at school there was the Stone Soup meal all the children helped prepare and share together. They were all very proud of the soup they made.
After their meal, the kindergarteners put on a play of the Stone Soup story for their younger classmates and families. 🙂
